Going around the walnut dining table, which has been seeing heavy use this season, there is a short black cabinet everyone calls the silverware cabinet, with candles, games and debris on top. On the next wall is a long wooden sideboard with most of its surface covered in candles and a sculpture you did of a reclining Medusa. The doors have grates that allow you to see mostly inside to the napkins and other dining room necessities. In the corner is a dark wooden tea cart, somewhat over-elaborately carved. ### A Christmas Page Turner You and Yitz have brought the last present down to Papa's office to use as a base of operations. When you open the box, you see that, somehow, Papa has managed to stuff a paperback version of the first Harry Potter book into the box. On top is the large chess board holding the pieces your Mama made for your Papa. c) your old desk, which you always hated. The top is glass, which allows you to see that there are a bunch of old books crammed in the drawer underneath, but it makes a rotten surface to write on and you always felt that it would shatter at a moment's notice, shredding you into a zillion pieces. Next to it is a floor lamp, and then you get to the three, stuffed bookshelves to your right. Oh, on the left wall is a closet.
